Baldur’s Gate 3, which launched for Windows last month, is finally getting ready to launch for PlayStation 5. With the trailer shared by developer Larian Studios, details about the game’s early access and release date have been revealed.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming out for PS5 on September 6
Larian Studios first launched the open beta of Baldur’s Gate 3 in 2020, opening the game to select users. Last August, the full version of the game was released for Windows PCs. Finally, a new trailer revealed that it’s coming to PlayStation 5 on September 6th.
PS5 owners who pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition of Baldur’s Gate 3 can start playing right now. The full PlayStation 5 version will be available to all players starting September 6th.
No exact date has been given for when the game will come to Xbox. However, Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke has stated that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available for Xbox Series X/S later this year, possibly in October or November.
The base version of Baldur’s Gate 3 can be purchased on the PlayStation Store for $699. It remains to be seen when it will be added to PlayStation Plus. But since it managed to score 96 points on Metacritic, we suggest you give it a chance.
